I'm not a fan of the diagonal desk placement as you shorten the room and entering and exiting the desk may be tight. I would place the desk parallel to one of the windows, my guts says the one on the left, with your back to the window. Place your accent chairs angled in front of the desk and place the rug - only - on the diagonal.

This is a gorgeous room - what a lovely home office. I would place the desk facing out from the window on the right. This way you have site lines to the front entry, as well as the goings on in the home, when working. But those are just my two cents. Most likely you'll need to move the furniture around a bit before you find the right configuration. My advice is to get furniture moving "feet" so you can slide the desk around until you find the correct location.
