Have you looked at any of the paint sites to throw out some of the color names you're thinking of? Darker or Lighter? More blue or more grey?

Also, do a quick search on Google of kitchen living space colors and look at the images. Maybe you'll get some ideas there as well?

Try to be as specific with your help request as possible or you may end up with all kinds of input you aren't really looking for... ;-) So, painting everything you see including walls and ceiling? All one color or going for an accent in the kitchen? What color is your furniture? What is your style of decorating - modern, traditional, eclectic, etc? All those things will help folks give you some feedback on colors.

I like the blue-greys that are popular right now and I think finding the right shade will be the tricky part with the lighting in your space. Have fun with it!
