Tupperware question

Does anyone store Tupperware containers in your pantry? If so how? On a shelf or in a larger container? Lids separate from bowls? We are currently adding a larger pantry and I'm trying to figure out the best way to store my Tupperware in it. Thanks for any advice, pics welcome.

I have a lot of lids that fit various plastic storage bowls, some Tupperware lids are quite large. Found an old clear Rubbermaid photo media storage bin which fit well on the pantry shelf. So the lids are vertically stacked in there where I can quickly find the one to match whatever bowl is being used. The bowls and square plastic bottoms are stored in both a large pull out cabinet and on a traditional pot shelf.

My plastic and glass storage pieces are in a drawer in the kitchen, so they are convenient for putting leftovers into lunch-sized containers. I have a box on one side of the drawer for lids.

In my last kitchen I was able to place them in my 24" drawer beside my oven. In our new house I don't have the space for them in the cabinets so they have to go into the pantry. I know I don't want them on the floor in bins because I hate to bend down and sift through them. I'm thinking stacking the bowls on a shelf and a bin for containing the lids. I'm sure a Target trip will be in my future.

Hmmm. I don't have any spare Tupperware. All used for long term storage and located in the pantry. For short term storage I use the non BPA , etc etc containers from Home Goods. I have more than I need of them but not out of control quantities. Stored in a drawer. I also use lots of baggies.

What little I have left is stacked in a drawer with the more disposable kind that stacks so well and is available at the grocery store. I had a really good clean-out of all my misc stuff that took up FAR too much space!

Agree with Anglophillia - this is a great time to ask yourself if you need all of it. Otherwise, for years to come you will need to spend time straightening it out, rearranging, moving it from place to place... Keep a few pieces, donate the rest and free yourself from future time lost dealing with it.

I got rid if most of mine too, I kept a few of a couple of different sizes. They are (at least for now). In the upper corner cabinet near the stove. I kept few, so stored each one with the kids on. Threw out all lids with no container and all containers with no lid
