The old Ashe home (near the Sequoia Hills entrance) the massive brick houses north of the road and behind the elegant brick serpentine (Jeffersonian) wall, have always had a few hollyhocks at the inner curves along the walls.

Someone has worked on them and now the are masses of new colors and in wonderful bloom.
