What type of wood and stain are used for the cabinets and island?

The Perimeter cabinets are Clear Alder with a stain & Chocolate Glaze. The island is actually a "Barn Style" melamine finish. The upper cabinet art cubbies are the same color as the ceiling- Benjamin Moore's "Dolphin"
