Gorgeous pics, Janice! Have you grown Dr. Wyche's before? I grew them last season and found them one of my all-time faves. Consistently huge, fruity/tropical flavor and meaty, but very juicy. I'll be growing them again this season alongside a few other repeats.

Thanks nb. I seem to recall it was pics of your Dr Wyche's Yellow that inspired me to try them. This is my first time trying them and I am impressed. Sets as well as Big Beef and the foliage is not showing any disease issues. I look forward to a taste test.

Yes, yours look impressive, indeed. I am looking forward to seeing what you think of them. They're definitely more orange than yellow, but some were more on the yellow side, especially toward the end of the season with a turn toward cooler temps. I'd have to look back at my records, but I don't think I harvested any main-season fruit that were less than 9oz or so. Late season fruits were smaller, but I still had an occasional 13-14oz fruit in late September. I was very surprised with the consistent fruit size throughout the season.

As far as disease issues, I had absolutely no issue with the plant at all. It got huge and was healthy as can be all season long. It's definitely a tough plant and it'll be interesting to see how it does for me again this year.
