Please share your reliable source for purchasing Arabicum seeds

Mr. KO in Taiwan currently has two different Arabicum seeds, Brazilian (under simply "Arabicum") and Desert Night Fork. He also had Somalense seeds, but is currently out of stock. 15 seeds of each of these are just $1.50 and you can order directly by emailing him at: adenium@adenium.com.tw

Here's his price list and current offerings: http://www.adenium.com.tw/2015price%20list.htm

Here are three of my seed grown 7 month olds. The two on the left are Desert Night Fork, the one on the right is Brazilian. Notice the self branching and difference between the two - Both can grow in a conical form:

    Two additional resources on Facebook:

    1) Dino Adenium: Generally do not sell seeds, unless one is purchasing plants. The seeds occasionally sold are of the hybrids they grow.

    2) Comsan Kan: Sells seeds.

Hi Maria Elena, thanks for posting this information. I was able to send you a PM yesterday, I don't know if you received it??? I did what you said & went into my advanced settings & set it up for messaging & saved the changes - but it doesn't seemed to have worked. I even tried logging off & then logging back in to see if that helped. Maybe it takes a couple of days till Houzz updates my preferences. Either way, thanks again for taking the time to post this information. Rachel :)

It worked, Rachel. I can PM you now! Yaaaay!!

Yes, I did receive your message ... Thank you. Thought others would find this information useful. I was looking for arabicum seeds to share with someone who recently lost a beauty. I planted some at the beginning of the season and none germinated for me. Perhaps it was too clammy still at night. Gosh, I can't believe they're selling arabicum seeds for $2 & $3 each in Thailand (some sellers). I am not paying that for a seed that may or may not germinate. Unless I find other reputable merchants, I'll just stick to KOs arabicums. The Desert Night Forks are nice.

Great, I'm glad it worked. Yes, that is very expensive to pay per seed, and no guarantee of germinating. Some of the plants here in Australia are very expensive, but I think that's because they are still hard to find here. Our nurseries are so far behind the rest of the world in supplying Adeniums.

By the way, I found this gardening quote online yesterday, that I liked - so I thought I might share it here....

"In search of my mother's garden, I found my own." Author Alice Walker.

Happy to share. I am also looking for some "Big Boys." The AdeniumSeeds.com website does a great job of showing you the differences between their different arabicums and socos. I think I will order from Kesorn when I'm ready.
