Would it look ok to paint or refinish these coffee and end tables? If so what color would you recommend? I will be on a stay at home vacation in a couple weeks and can try another DIY project. Or would it be better to sell them and find something else. If we keep them we'd probably change them in a few years - after we get rid of the carpet (which is going to be after the remodel of the other part of the house). The couch was a sectional that was purchased for a much larger house. We are thankful that the color doesn't clash but it definitely doesn't fit. We will replace the side that is close to the window with chairs but probably not until the carpet is gone.
