Soil test Results

last modified: 9 years ago

Good Evening everybody,

I recently took advice from this forum and had a soil test done by Soil Savy. They listed the recommended Synthetic at 16-16-16 4lb/1000sq/ft. Organic is a 6-6-6 at 12.75lbs per 1000sq/ft.

As I have never done a soil test and i am still developing my green thumb, I was curious as to a few things when developing a strategy from this soil test.

1. It's telling me to apply a 16-16-16, or a 6-6-6 fertilizer. Should I apply that 16-16-16 or 6-6-6 monthly? What I'm trying to get at is:

A. how long do I follow the recommended protocol?
B. Do I apply it monthly (i ask that because from what I read you need a high nitrogen fert monthly)?

2. What recommended products do you recommend? I love Milorganite, but I am willing to put a synthetic down as long as it doesn't burn my lawn in the summer months when i apply it monthly.

I had to include a link to my google drive because my picture was too big for the forum. Any guidance is appreciated as i want to make sure this baseline doesn't go to waste.
