White cabinets/vanities for whole house?

(Repost) I am currently remodeling a beach house with seven (!!) bathrooms/powder rooms. I have been perusing the net forever for design ideas and I just really truly love the look of white vanities and then punch up with paint or wallpaper (which I am currently obsessed with!) Should I break it up a bit with colored or wood vanities or is it okay to keep the theme the same? I feel that it might not be very interesting when the kitchen and bathroom have all predominantly white cabinets?

Not if you like white. Each bathroom can have its own personality with tile, color, accessories. The vanity isn't usually the focal point unless you do something over the top.

I think it can add some consistency as a foundation which is nice, while still allowing for so much variety! I love wallpaper in a bath....

We have a beach house with ("only") 3 bathrooms and all have white vanities. Kitchen has white cabinets too. I don't think anyone really notices that they're all the same color (and they are each different style-wise), and I think it's very appropriate for a beach house.

To keep it classic, use shaker style cabinets... that's the style in all the fabulous pics posted by Boopadaboo.

White vanities work very well in a beach house. I like the idea of making the cabs Shaker style. While I am not a fan of wallpaper (largely because I hate removing it), Boo's first example is stunning!
