Do I need extra protection for the tub?

I've planned to put this beautiful tub on my third floor master suite, but I just found out it's rather heavy, do I need extra protection for the floor? Or can I install there?

Hi there, it really depends on when the house was built. Normally there are the proper floor joists in place but do not take my word for it. Please have your contractor/installer quickly consult a structural engineer if you have any concerns. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply. It seems fine to install there, but I need to know what kind of drain/tail pipe I shall use underneath it. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks you so much!

Thank you. It depends on your plumber/installer but we recommend using an EZ Drop Drain (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZHwD8RNE5I) which we sell. Please advise. Thanks again!
