Peter, it is the end of the season right now for us Aussies, and not the time to be fertilising. Our plants here in Brisbane are now going dormant and yellowing of leaves is a signal of this. Our plants are not actively growing now (no new leaves forming) even though we are still getting some flowers. At this time of the year in Brisbane the colder morning temps are enough to start causing problems if you water too much or fertilise - to try and keep them growing. Best to just leave them alone for now, and let their leaves yellow and fall off till Spring. We will now water only occasionally on a warm day just enough to keep them hydrated till Spring. (No fertiliser.) I wouldn't worry too much about what is happening to your plants, as they will probably fix themselves in Spring when you repot them.

I can not see what you mean by wave like spotted leaves, maybe need a close up photo for us to see better. (It is possible that the fertiliser has made things worse at this time in the season).

Thanks Rachel its just me panicking i havent watered them only rain is wetting them.there is a friend i surf with he is a horticulturalist he suggested the trace elements because of the potting mix i make up then against my gut feeling i gave it to my plants i hope i have not damaged them he allso told me that trace elements is not a fertiliser because i dont usually feed my plants this time of the year before i found this forum i have fumbled my way through growing my D/R plants this forum has helped me so much i have been watching for months before i joined(:

Rachel if you look at the first pic you can see the crinkley leaves im not to concerned now talking to you in the past my leaves have yellowed then fell off this time they are a bit unusual eg very large leaves crinkle leaves narrow leaves flowers falling off any way all good thanks

Peter, technically 'trace elements' are minerals eg: copper, zinc etc and are usually only needed in small quantities for plants, where as NPK are nutrients needed in larger quantities. Most good fertilisers will have NPK + trace elements or micro nutrients in the one formula for all your plants needs.

As for your plants, it is easy to get in a state of panic when you see something that just doesn't look right, and start fiddling with them too much and make mistakes. The only thing I would be worried about at this time of year is root rot. I don't think you have that problem and I don't think you've damaged your plants either. No more stressing Peter.... Let the leaves yellow and fall off & in Spring repot them and everything will be fine. Sometimes the best thing to do, is to do nothing. :)

Peter, the crinkly edged leaves may just be normal for this plant. If they weren't crinkly before, then the trace elements may have caused this issue. Trace elements can sometimes compete with each other causing a deficiency of one and an excess of another and thus causing weird reactions in our plants. Don't worry, repotting in Spring should fix this.

Rachel - off topic, sorry. When would be the best time to air layer Adenium branches, I know it takes a lot of time to get roots forming. I have no luck with cuttings. Thankyou!

Agartta, I can't help with this as I have no experience with air layering Adeniums. BUT, I would think Spring/Summer is best. I think someone on this forum tried it recently, but I can't remember who. My suggestion would be to start a new post asking for advice from everyone. Cheers.

August bragu, Its just that i have increased my plants from 8 that i have had for years they are acclimatize to my area the new plants are spiting the dummy and doing weird things and there is so many of them about 80 on there first flower .

Peter, I'm glad you're another newbie to this forum, like me. I just have more experience with the forum (15 years); you have waaaaaaay more experience with D.R. (15 years).

Carol i may of had DR for a long time that dont mean i know much i fell in love with them along time ago but there was hardly no info about them i killed alot of them over watering not enough sun wrong potting mix there was nothing i have learnt more about DR in the last 6mts of this forum i dont know how my 8 older plants survived i started growing from seeds about 3years ago that was a epic fail l lost two lots aprox 80 seeds they rotted i came across different sites so i picked what i thought would work for me i mucked around with seedling mix and now i get very good germination rates im still tweaking my potting mix i think i have almost got it to what i want.

So interesting! You have come a long way. What IS your potting mix for seeds? I have those 37.5 seeds on order, ya know. :) It will be my first time with adenium seeds.
