AquaGuard Laminate or wood look tile?

We are taking up the builder's 18x18 stock tile and would like to change to some type of wood look flooring. We do not want hardwoods as we have pups and we do not want the upkeep or the worry of damage usually associated with hard wood floors.

There is a water resistant laminate product through our local Floor and Decor called AquaGuard that we really like. We are thinking of installing this throughout all areas in the house except the kitchen, utility room and baths, which would all have 12x24 porcelain cement tile.

Another option we are contemplating is wood look tile. If we did wood look tile we would install it in all areas throughout the house.

We just can't decide which would be the best route to go. Looks, durability, resale value...which would be the best choice?
