Help my plants are sick

last modified: 9 years ago

We just planted our landscape foundation around 5May2017. I have several plants who are very sickly looking( Pictures attached) The plants are Blue Kazoo Spirea, Magnolia Jane tree, and a knockout rose...Several of the leaves have died or have turned yellow/wrinkled. All the plants were purchased at a local grower who has a reputation and 100 year track record . Most were kept protected from the elements in green houses. Of note we had a frost the following weekend they were planted ( we protected them with plastic garbage bags). We planted several other types of shrubs, perennials, and trees and not all plants are sickly. The plants all looked great before planting but we're allowed to sit in there pots for several days to acclimate to outside. We have loam type of soil which was rototillered and mixed with leaf compost prior to planting and was then topped with hardwood mulch. We have had some very humid 85 degree days but we have faithfully watered. We have quite an investment in these plants and I need to know what is wrong with them and how to treat them. Please any advice is appreciated.
