Hi there,

I recently planted 6' skip laurels and within a few days many of them were extremely wilted. I'm confused since I've watered daily and have monitored moisture in the root ball. I'm trying to figure out if they are overwatered or underwatered but the symptoms are basically the same.

Is it possible to overwater a newly planted shrub that quickly? And, if so, is there any chance of root rot this early in the game?
