So last year I took a few divisions off a couple of my heuchera and stuck them in the dirt of my raised bed next to the house. Nothing much grows there because it's mostly wet and shady and the resident toad likes to dig things out if they get to big. My experiment worked all the divisions came out this spring so I planted them in the main flower bed that I expanded. Now I'm taking a few divisions this spring just in case my main plants fizzle out I will have back ups and can spread them through the other smaller beds.
