I'm looking for recommendations for shade-tolerant drought-tolerant non-invasive vines that can be trained upright and also cascade. It is for a narrow strip of space between a fence and a retaining wall (north facing). Right now the creeping raspberry is growing well in it but I will be taking it out because of the thorns.

I'm considering Star Jasmine because it is readily available, but would like to know what else is out there.
