Hello,

I have been growing four maple trees from seed for a couple years now. Two of the maple trees are continuing to grow upwards perfectly through their buds on the top.

However, the buds on the other two maple trees are no longer blooming on the top and have therefore stopped their upward growth.

My question is what can or should be done to these two maple trees now? Should I cut off the buds that are no longer blooming or do something else?
