I was so happy to be finally done planting and put my baby tomatoes out in their new homes. Upon further inspection I noticed little green bugs and black winged tiny insects. Some of the leaves are also growing curled.

Today I went out and sprayed them as best I could with a hose, they are tiny plants so trying not to damage them! I also read up about garlic powder so by hand I sprinkled this all over the plants and in the soil. Can you hurt the tomatoes with too much garlic powder? I was thinking of making a spray also so I can hit the underside of the leaves. How often should one do this?

I bought a batch of lady bugs last night too.

I don't feel I have ever noticed bugs before in my plants, the BF bought cheaper soil not what I usually like, wondering if they came from that?

Anything else I can do? Since they are tomato plants I want to keep it organic!
