Lime plant dropping fruit and with very different leaves

I have a lime tree that sets a bunch of fruit in spring, but drops all the fruit after a few weeks. I am attaching a photo below to show the size the fruit gets to before dropping.

With the same tree, I also see some very strange, different sized leaves. See second photo, below. The left side of the photo and the right side of the photo are the exact same lime plant, but the left side of the plant has normal lime leaves with the right side having huge leaves. Same roots as well.

The plant is in the bay area, gets some morning sun and is in clay soil (pretty fertile). I use lime fertilizer once every two months.

Any ideas?
