Should we paint these kitchen crowns to match the trim?

I'm struggling with this...
Kitchen cabinets are BM White Chocolate. The crown molding going around the entire room is the same color, and it goes over the cabinets in some places, and over the wall in other places. (Walls are SW Balmy by the way, light blue).
The problem is, the other trim (over the various doorways, and the baseboards) are SW Westhighland White, and as you can see in the photo, where the crown gets close to the trim, they clash. The crown starts to look beige and dirty.
So what should I do? My ideal solution would be to paint the cabinets AND the crown in Westhighland White, and just have it all match. That's a fairly big project though, and not one we have time for before we move in in a few days.
One thing I was considering is painting the crown Westhighland White only in the areas where it's not on the cabinets, and leave the cabinet crown in White Chocolate. Of course, there will be areas where these intersect, mostly in inside corners. Would that look ridiculous?
Only other options I think of are 1. leave it alone, and 2. paint all the crown in Westhighland White, even over the cabinets, but then I'm worried it'll clash with the cabinets... Open to suggestions!

I think the crown that touches the cabinets should be the same as the cabinets. The rest should be the same as all the other trim.

If you paint the crown west highland white, then yes, it will clash as you can see by the door frame and the cabinets. If it doesn't work in one area, it's not going to work in another area where the crown is right on top of the cabinet.

Paint the door frames the White chocolate and your problem is solved. It doesn't need to match the trim in the other rooms.

But where do you stop? Do I just paint the trim facing the kitchen in white chocolate? What about the doorways? At some point, the white chocolate will be touching the westhighland. Wouldn't it work if I painted the crown in westhighland except over the cabinets?

We had this same issue - white chocolate cabs and trim + white crown molding and door frame. We eventually decided to keep all the kitchen cabs and trim white chocolate and all the other trim white (BM Bavarian Cream). We never notice or think about where it butts together. There is a space of wall over the sink where we could have theoretically put crown molding and would have had a color dilemma, but we just left it as is. This might work for you, or it might bug you - only you can tell.

Nice, thank you! And we have a similar wall color, nice taste! I think we will probably do the same, the crown being white chocolate really bugs me when it's near the white trim.

Just to close out this thread for future reference - painted the crown white in all areas where it was not over the cabinets, and it looks a LOT better. Should have been done that way from the start. Left the crown over the cabinets (which is the same design, just different color) as white chocolate, which also looks right. The only tricky part in this was painting the crown where the two colors meet. I did a decent but not perfect job, I will probably go back over it with a fine paintbrush to get a perfect line.
