I have handles on my drawers and knobs on the cabinets.

We have two homes. One has all knobs, the other has all pulls. It makes no difference.

I prefer handles, especially for the wide 36" drawers.

maybe it is just me, but i go by comfort level. JOT has difficulties getting his fingers in many. I have difficulty when the underneath is cut out and it can dig into my fingers.

I vote for knobs on cabinets and pulls on drawers as well. I will comment that only a couple of the examples shown actually look comfortable to the hand. I prefer knobs and handles that have heft, but also feel smooth and rounded--sounds harsh to have to grab some pointy hexagon knob, or squared off pull, just to get my cocoa and toast in the morning. I think things become pleasing to us, in the long run, when they feel good, look good, work well, and clean easily :)

We recently renovated our entire kitchen and I decided on all Pulls after reading a Houzz article on "Aging In Place". Knobs were discouraged for two reasons: 1) clothing can get caught on knobs causing an older person to lose his/her balance, and 2) knobs may become increasingly harder to grasp as we age due to arthritis in our fingers. Also read that clothing can get caught on Pulls with "T" shaped corners. I went many times to a local hardware store and put my large knuckled fingers into every single pull that they had on display. Finally settled on one (Top Knobs SS106) that had the roomiest finger clearance of 1" and also matched with our transitional kitchen decor.
