Hi Tyler! Well you obviously did a great job, poor plant is alive and growing! :) but it sure doesn't seems like the one you ordered. Hopefully second bloom will be better! Keep us posted and I hope your replacement plants will be true to their colors! My latest order from Rinoa so slow to grow, plants just started to grow.

My replacement plants haven't started to grow yet either. I potted them up but beyond the initial root soak when they first arrived, I haven't watered them and they are under the patio umbrella with my other succulents for now. I think I can just barely see a little red tip beginning to appear from one of the growth points. Maybe I'm being overly cautious in not putting them out in full sun yet? I've lightly misted the caudex but waiting until I see signs of real growth before fully watering.

I'm still in my 1st year of growing Adenium and I'm happy to have any advice or suggestions.

Fully open now. Rather than being disappointed for what it is not, I'm looking at it with new eyes and going to appreciate it for what it is.

WOW! Big differences, all from the same plant. Seems like there are too many variables and just no telling what you might end up with.

Rick - I love that second bloom. I think the blooms get more intense as the plant matures more. Every year makes more beautiful blooms.

Rick, I love it, too. I think you're right, Agartta. They improve with age. :)
