Not sure why my original photos did not copy over, but here are the photos. Couldn't even attach them in the original posting I made.

First, the drapery rod would be best about halfway between the top of the window and the ceiling edge. For the windows beside the bed, I would do fuller drapery and pull it to each side with the tieback. That would create a nice look of symmetry on the bed side of the room. Keep the sheers or replace them with new white ones. On the other side, run a rod or series of rod at the same height as the other side of room (keep them all consistent) and ensure you can pull the drapes all the way away from the door wall when you want them open. This will keep them clean and keep the light coming into your space when desired. You need enough panels of drapery to be 2-1/2 times the width of the space you are draping. Panels should come to about 1/4 inch of the floor or carpeting. No puddling.

Flo - are you suggesting that the drapery panels run the full length of the combined width of windows and sliding glass door together...sort of as if it was one large window? Would you match the drapery panels on both walls?

Yes and all drapery would be the same but I would keep it simple like a light linen. Possibly come close to your wall color.

Drapes flanking the bed and matching faux romans at the slider and windows would solve it. I would mount both drapes and romans at the same level. You may actually like one long roman that tops both windows and the slider.

These ideas would be reversed with drapes at bedside; romans at windows to hide the tops of your sheer blinds. If you wanted to blend fabric and fiber, the second idea would keep the tops of the current shades hidden.
