Low maintenance patio material

We're building a patio in the backyard to use as outdoor living space. We want a high end and very low maintenance look. Are synthetic material the way to go, since exotic hardwood still need regular maintenance? We've seen Trex in pictures but not sure if it can deliver the high end look we want. Can you recommend the right material?

Flagstone, brick pavers or porcelain tile is the route I normally lean my customers.

Porcelain tile is maintenance-free, easy to keep clean, and comes in endless colors/patterns to fit any style. If you live in an area with cold winters, the tile needs to be frost proof so it will withstand the cold temperatures- if you go to a tile showroom they should be able to look up the technical specs for you to find out.

you said patio, but you mention decking (exotic hardwoods and Trex). Can you clarify what you're doing?
