The Yellowish color will come from the finish as well the fading if you choose poor quality cabinets you will get a poor quality look are you buying brand name cabs or custom made

I am buying or looking at the Kitchen Maid brand. However, I am open to suggestions?

I could only assume that they have different degrees of quality Ive never personally worked with that brand other things to remember quality of the hardware is it wood or Mdf etc not just finish on the cabs but with saying that you don't want a cheap lacquer or low quality oil base finish I would price out the Kraft maid cabs and get quotes from local custom cabinet shops . I would ask lots of questions

All finishes do fade or wear over time but white is so clean looking and timeless and fits all styles. They also give a brighter feel to a room. Kitchen Maid ? Kraft maid is a trust worthy brand I have used many times.

I would LOVE,LOVE to get custom cab's, but this is low budget remodel not like the $100 thousand kitchens showcased in Houzz. I just did not want 2 do the dark cabs, kitchen is 2 small about 150 sq. feet. So any suggestions. Would help. Also, @ 63 yrs old there is not much cooking going on, I'm traveling and enjoying life.
