Possible grassy weed identification

Hi all,

Just another lawn nut here seeking an answer I have never found. I've never been able to identify this particular grass that I find on my property (Western WA/ Seattle). I mainly stick to rye and red fescue, but I think this grass is a leftover from when the property was an over grown mess. This stuff is in my lawn in places, but my preferred grass keeps it at bay for the most part in those sections.

It appears to have stolons and maybe rhizomes as well. It grows these LONG stems/ stolons laterally that have a weird node in them or a "kink". I've never seen one of those lateral stems root though so I dunno.

Anyway, I want to find out what this stuff is so I can deal with the situation. I let the below plant grow in an out of the way area to try to get a decent seed head pic. Hope these pictures are good enough, but the plant is in my office if you need more...tough to get close ups focused.
