leaf curl and repotting

I've had a Persian lime for a few weeks.

I pulled the rootball out and it looked like nice roots and was not potbound so I left it in the grower mix.

At the store, the citrus were in full sun on blacktop, so when. I got it home I put it in full sun.

It wilted and some of the leaves curled. Checked soil moisture and it was good. I watered it anyway, and it looked better. Eventually I moved it into part sun.

Less wilting now , but still some curled leaves. It appears randomly distributed on the plant. So on a particular branch, only some curl. Seems odd to me, perhaps it means something?

As far as roots, am I correct that mature roots are yellowish, and the new ones are white? Or are the yellow ones actually dead??

I suppose i will go ahead and repot this but I am nervous. I got a new kumquat last month and it was my first citrus repotted in 5-1-1. It has dropped leaves gradually ever since the repot. It is in light shade (no direct sun but fairly bright), I was waiting for the leaf drop to stop to move it out. Perhaps it actually wants full sun?
