We have many maples in or backyard which have done great. However - after producing new leaves this spring - two of them have all the leaves curling up while green & falling off. The backyard is covered in dead leaves - which then turn black.

Is this something which can be overcome or will affect the other trees? I've attached of a photo of the leaves on the ground.
