Avoid direct sunlight. This is a plant that prefers consistently moist soil so attend to watering needs carefully. If very dry, plunge the entire pot into a deep bucket of water and let it soak for an hour or so. It also enjoys pretty high humidity as well, so daily misting is helpful. And yes, you can trim off any dead fronds.

Also you can give it some dilute liquid fertilizer periodically, maybe once a month during the summer growing season.
