Bedroom curtains and nightstand

I'm having trouble figuring out the curtain placement/design in my small bedroom. This is really the only bed arrangement I am able to do and I can't stand beds that are pushed against a wall (they are a pain in the butt to make every morning!). Should I just forget about the curtains?

Also, I am thinking of going with floating nightstands rather than traditional night stands. Any thoughts? I will attach a picture of a night stand design I like.

If you have any other suggestions please comment below! This is my first home and it's all a bit overwhelming.

You can do this... But you won't be able to do floating nightstands.

I would do as Outshopping suggests and have your window treatment span the wall. I like your floating tables but there are lots of cool bedside table options and the room will look so much better if you disguise the off center windows.

I would stick to roman blinds or shades on the window, which is a nice clean look. You could use a floating end table on the side of the bed under the window, and then use a larger end table on the other side, so you get some storage, with a ceiling mounted light fixture hanging over it. The light would let you add some personality, give you better ambient lighting, and keep your night stand top clear.

Will window wall I. Drapes. Mount your floating tables to the side walls in front of the drapes. Work the depth of the table to get about eight inches from the bed. Add basket in lower shelf to conceal personal beside items.

I think the wall of drapes to balance out your windows would be a wonderful idea. I think you could fit a couple of smaller nightstands in for storage.

It seems your best option is going to be doing window treatments across the wall behind your bed.

Wall to wall panels. Sorry you won't be able to do the floating shelves, but I think it will make a huge difference. Just look for side tables that aren't too deep. And you're right - I hate beds pushed against the wall. :-)
