I think even with the glass rail there will be excessive dust, lint, hair coming down off the stairs.

It's unfortunately the only place I can use for kitchen. Under stairs are closed and on the side it's glass as you can see.....

I think you should be thankful that there is no choice. Choices are the road to insanity. You could do some adorable cabinetry in that wedge shape.

Check Zillow for apartments for rent or sale in manhattan (New York) or other big cities. Sometimes there are good ideas you can find from what other people have done with small spaces. I can't wait to see what you end up doing!

The house I grew up in had steps like that. I took a few falls down them on my behind on my shins. I probably deserved it cause I was moving too fast though

Part of my kitchen is under the back side of my staircase. This is how we used the space. You really do need a professional kitchen designer to make the most of this kind of space.

If you are in an apartment, and we can see some of the equipment hook up for a kitchen in the lower wall near the front door, where is the hood vent for the stove? How does the duct leave your unit to the outside? If you ran a leg of cabinetry along the side wall and a leg out into the middle of the room would you be interrupting anything planned or clearances elsewhere? The under stair space as open shelving that relates to the dimensions of the stairs could look purposeful and like an extension of the steps. Is the stronger wood or thin steel?

Apparently people in Germany can take a single 29" step safely. Maybe they don't have any very old or very young people there.

I think Germany would be great if they'd just use inches and feet.

Metric uses our silly base 10 number system, which only really applies to our fingers and toes. Base 12 is a much more natural system because it's human scale, it's divisible by 2-3-4-6, and simplifies Pythagorean triangles. 10 is only divisible by 2 and 5 and really isn't that common in nature except fingers and toes. Metric is the measure of science but imperial is the measure of creativity. I only say this about length measurement of course, the rest of imperial is a disaster. Germany, convert to the inch. The metric system is French for crying out loud

I was in elementary school when the US government tried to switch us to metric. What I remember is trying to teach us how to convert back and forth between the 2 systems. As if that would ever work! What they needed to do was just give everyone new rulers in metric. Just make the switch cold turkey. A few months of chaos and it would have been over.

However, to get back on subject, I think the refrigerator under the staircase is definitely the best option.

Many thanks for those good ideas guys! I will find a good carpenter to make the part under the stairs! Will share the result when it's finished! But it will be expensive. Hand made things are quite expensive here. But they say it will last forever
