Best of luck. What kind of citron is it?

I think it looks great! My calamondin has formed blooms for the first time ever and they are much smaller than yours. I think it looks healthy and beautiful. Congrats! I have noticed blooms all over my trees so I do not think the location is anything to worry about.

Thank you so much for sharing and congratulations! There seems to be less information about when seed grown trees actually start blooming for people so this is great to see. I am fascinated by citron trees and would love to get my hands on some more interesting varieties, their smell is like non other. Where did you get your seeds from? Did you bring them back yourself?.

Sammers, I use Citrons for the Jewish Festival of Sukkot. They are shipped here from all over the world - but the main supply is from Israel and Morocco. There are many different types/cultivars but as per religious requirement they cannot be grown from grafted trees and cannot be descendants from grafted trees. The Moroccan ones are exceptionally beautiful and many Rabbis consider their lineage to be the most reliable. They can be purchased in the fall during the Festival but are expensive ranging in price from $25 per fruit to $200 per fruit depending on lineage and aesthetic beauty of the individual fruit!
