Hallman gas range

My husband and I were looking into buying a 48 inch gas hallman range/oven, but I don't see many reviews about them. Has anyone purchased Hallman or have any feed back on them? A major purchase that I don't want to regret.

Thank you

Treesh

Treesh, did you end up purchasing the Hallman? I, too, am looking at purchasing their 48" range, but haven't found much information.

I ended up purchasing the NXR 48" range. We are not done with our reno, so no opinion to offer, but I will be happy to update later!

0Summit Tile and Stone, its interesting that at the end of March when you wrote your post, they had 107 reviews. I looked for reviews this past weekend and appliance connection.com was the only website that had any and it was around 325 reviews for the Hallman stove. All positive. Sounds a bit fishy to me. I am curious about the range and would love to hear from someone who has one in their home.

I just ordered one and I am hoping its as good as it looks.

Hello! Does any one have any feedback on the Hallman stoves? I am looking to get one, but I, too, can not find many reviews.

Plan on waiting at least 3 months

"I, too, can not find many reviews"

Here is a thread about Hallman ranges that has 223 posts. It is always concerning when a manufacturer needs to post fake review, which is discussed in that thread. There are a couple of other posts on this forum with people chiming in how they love their Hallman ranges, but the way they're written, they are clearly fake.

The Hallman ranges have very long lead times. There evidently are none being delivered until January 2019 at the earliest.

I just purchased a 30" Hallman, through Appliances Connection. It does not work properly, and Hallman has been extremely difficult to deal with. I wish I went a different direction. It has been 9 days and still no repair is scheduled. I was going to go with all Hallman for kitchen, but no way will I do that now. I am so disappointed with Hallmans customer service. I am really sad, my experience with Hallman has been awful.

So I called to try and change the color of our range. They are made in the ILVE factory, not surprising considering how similar they look. Have mine in place, but have not used it yet. Instructions appear to involve quite a bit of work during the install for the burners to work properly , with getting the air fuel mixture correct.

what temp and setting does the stove have to be to use the warming drawer successfully.?

Thanks for ANY advice on this and oven usage in general

Susan, look for thread "advise about buying a Hallman range" also on Houzz. There are over 800 responses and followers and a lot of answered questions. I ordered a 48" in blue and it is on the delivery truck to me, hopefully this week. Took approximately 12-13 weeks to get here. Just hoping I don't have any issues with it. My kitchen should be finished in early March, so timing was perfect.

Lydiben1, has your Hallman range arrived yet? Any issues so far? Thanks.

Yes it arrived a few minutes Months ago and I love it. The only issue is that the dimmer flame is still pretty high so sauces can be a challenge but we jus stir it constantly.

leory91, yes my Hallman came after about 13-14 weeks. Absolutely gorgeous midnight blue. It will be installed in the next week or so, still in the garage. Installing cabinets tomorrow. Will try to post pic when installed. Tks

Hi, lydiben1 can you please let me know your thoughts on your Hallman? I have been thinking of ordering for our new kitchen but I keep on getting mixed reviews and now trying to justify the price since it has gone up $,1000! Thank you for any feedback.

We’ve had ours for a year. No problems. Burners are powerful. Rotisserie spit could be heavier gauge; rotisserie spit bowed with an 8lb rib roast. Skillet we use weekly. Happy with our purchase, especially since the price went up. We did wait 16-18 weeks to get it, only downside so far.

Michlene, My Hallman works great. No issues at all. Oven heats to 500 and it is conversion so it is fast. Have not tried rotisserie yet; concern about all the clean up, LOL as I did not order the self cleaning panels. I love the range, the color is awesome and everything works as it should. And it got here in about 12-13 weeks. My experience with Hallman has been awesome . Go for it. There are some bad reviews about communicating with the company. I did not have to talk to them at all. I ordered with Appliances Connection and it even had $30 off. LOL Good luck!!
