Hi Tami,

This is a high contrast photo in the first place so it is intentionally dark caused by the natural lighting of the sun. It would look a tad lighter on canvas but not by much, the bottom right if the image is already flirting with over exposure and would get washed out beyond recognition if it was brighter. Both Aluminum and Canvas prints tend to lighten with age. Let us know if you have any other questions!
