combining green and blue juniper

I have a sunny steep slope that I am converting from grass in a rather piecemeal fashion. I want it primarily low in order to keep the view above it open. I've been picking up creeping junipers when I see them at a giveaway but without being carefult about selecting the same cultivar. Do you have examples of successful designs that combine green with blue junipers? I can't give you the names because they came without them. The slope also has a patch of heathers and a section of nepeta. There is also a shadier side with Japanese red maples underplanted with hardy geranium. My instinct tells me that the blue junipers would be the restful color, but I hate to pull up the greens that are doing well!
