Old fashioned yellow button flower

A friend has been hunting for this wild meadow flower for a couple years. There are quite a few perennials out there with the "Button Flower" description after their names and I've purchased two thinking I had the right one. Wrong. Now I realize she's looking for the yellow wild flower that resembles the buttercup, only with the bloom having a slightly mounded center and small petals surrounding it, and the green serrated foliage. Not Tansy or the straw flower with the silver foliage.

If anyone knows a source for this plant I would be so grateful. My friend is a good person who deserves some sunshine right about now and if I could find this flower she would be so happy. Thanks.
