Wallpaper or a stencil pattern on that wall would look very 'shabby chic' behind an antique mirror. We love the furniture combination you have going already! (While we don't recommend pink, you get the idea.) Good luck with your project!

Without seeing your other walls and adjacent spaces and measurements this is what comes to mind with seeing this space.

A photo mural or a Zuber or DeGournay wallpaper mural would be smashing. Roman shades in a solid colour texture on the windows would help.
Another possibility is to find an interesting paper and then use the textile version for matching roman shades.

I would get a wonderful large art piece for over your buffet that pulls a bit of the color from the buffet along with some darker accent color. A deep gray comes to mind. Then, paint the top of your tray ceiling in that dark gray. Put a woven Roman shade at the windows and then layer with side panels close to wall color or the deeper gray. Change the chandelier out to something more elegant but still in keeping with your look. Going to be really inviting and nice to entertain your friends and family.

Add a large piece of Art on wall and make it the focal point to anchor a room. A large piece of Art can really bring in a wave of deftness and add more color and life to your room. It acts as a style to your room.

You have a semi farm style table and the light fixture is chrome with frosted glass shades to hard to say from this observation. Yet a mirror that is paned with antique glass with a lamp on one side and something simple on the opposite... would fight a a bit with your light fixture though.

Here is a little bit more sophisticated approach to your dining room as an option to Farmhouse/Modern.

More soft contemporary art, metal lamp and accessories, metal and wood chandelier and some carved candlesticks for the table. I put a simple off white roman shade at the window, and you could put a drape perhaps even the newer "burlap" look if you want to play down the room. So, you can see, you can make it very casual or casual with a bit of a modern twist. Or just about anything inbetween. Enjoy!
