Russian sage tips wilting

I planted a Russian sage last year and it was beautiful and thankfully this year it has come back! It's too early for the purple-blue flowers but I've noticed the very tops of the greenery on my plant is now wilting. And that's where the flowers are supposed to shoot out next month! Anyone know if I'm under watering,

r if it's just too hot for my plant? It's been 90 degrees the past three days in jersey!
