Need an ID for this bush

I've got this bush just planted in an odd spot in my garden, and I'm kind of fond of it. Nicely cupped evergreen leaves, new growth is brighter green, older growth is a dark green with some reddish tints. It has the occasional five-petalled white flower, which is scented.

It's obviously not a jasmine or gardenia. Some kind of hawthorn? I have no idea, but I have seen it used as a screening shrub at my nearby 'gourmet' store, so I know it can get very large.
