What is this.

As topic states. What is this weed! Souther michican Kentucky bluegrass lawn with some rye and fescue. -any and every bare spot has been overrun by these crazy vine type weeds. They have weird round disc shaped heads and white flowers that are tiny. They creep along the ground like some kind of ivy with very very thick stems.

Can't tell you a name but anything with the ingredient Triclopyr will take care of it. Ortho Clover, Chickweed and Oxalis killer is available at most of the box stores in a concentrate. Mix according to the directions and spot spray each weed. Should get rid of them in a couple weeks.

Yeah that's a crazy looking thing. I tried finding it on a weed identifier but no luck. Why not take it to a local nursery and see if they know? I'm sure somebody local will be able to tell you.

Yea I'm gonna have to. I'll try the ortho stuff tho and see couldn't hurt. I've got other weeds I'm sure it could help. Have to wait a few weeks though. Put down a weed and feed a week ago

Stop using weed n feed for THIS VERY REASON. When you need a fertilizer use a fertilizer. When you need a herbicide, use a liquid like WBG CCO and spot spray as needed. Usually you need the herbicide in mid April and fertilizer in late May. Note the timing difference. Don't get mixed up on this.
