Would you please add several pictures of your bathroom? That would help tremendously.

Nothing to show: it's all drywall at this point. We stripped it to studs: new floor, walls, ceiling (wiring, plumbing). Waiting for windows to come in to start the final phases: tile, doorway, trim, fixtures, cabinetry...lights.

So anything white, black and blue goes, as well as all that matches that. I typed in wall light to search in the shop and got over 81,000 possibilities. Of course the too familiar ones, that get boring by now. But also some fun and unexpected ones. That would be your department, I guess.

Just to be sure, ask if it can withstand the bathroom. If so: pick and choose.

Have you considered rewiring for sconces instead? I think that might open up a world of possibilities.

I see. I know what you mean about something different though. I feel the same way. Everyone but me thinks my foyer fixture is crazy but I love it. I did some looking around but didn't see anything that stood out. Do you have pictures of your tiles that you can post so we can get a feel for the look you're going for?

have you considered pendant lights?

You can wire and mount scones in the vanity mirror vs either side of mirror. This gives the best vanity bath lighting in my opinion. Alternatively pendant lights.

I have seen that one. It's a great option.
