I would do 3 individual pots. That way you could experiment with different light levels, temperatures, and potting mixes to see what works best for you.

That's interesting. I am facing the same dilemma. I have two orchids which were divisions. Same plant. I was just thinking they would look great planted together. They are Dendrobium twins.

I have won a ribbon with one. They are beautiful when they flower.

I am thinking of putting them together in a large pot and hope they flower at the same time. Wasn't sure if AOS allows this for judging.

If you want to test out different growing conditions, do as James suggested.

You do not mention where you are growing these plants. If you were in a warm climate you probably wouldn't be concerned about light, temps, etc. In that case, I'd put them together. Depending on the size of the divisions, you might have a nice display of flowers.

If you are gowing them indoors, James might be correct to fool around with growing conditions to see how to get the best growth.

If they are all the same why not trade the other 2? For the cost of postage on 2 you will end up with 3 different orchids. An inexpensive way to expand your collection...The other issue is do you know how to pot them?

Shavedmonkey makes a good point. I am trying to revitalize a sad little Cymbidium and I repotted it into some new substrate. In the process, I knocked off a root nub and now it's set up weird and kind of leaning. I may have actually harmed it in the process of repotting it. If I were to give you any piece of advice (as new as I am to orchids), I would say that if you want to repot them definitely watch as many YouTube videos on it as you can, because while you can read all of the info about what to replant them in, technique and placement is also important for the health of your plants.
