I think it's typical for new growth to be a lighter green. Those other leaves look like a very dark green and I wonder if that's from the high nitrogen fertilizer. How often are you watering? What size is the pot?

The Original leaves were that dark green and have remained that dark green, that's why I assumed the light green wasn't good. If they're dark green from a high nitrogen fertilizer, that's what they were giving it before I got it :) It's outside, so I haven't actually watered it much - it's mostly been rainfall. The day I fertilized it I picked up the pot and it was really light so I figured it was dry and watered it until it came out. The pot is about 9-10" across the top, I can measure when I get home. It does have an attached saucer that just snaps off the bottom - could it be holding too much water?

I was just wondering if you were maybe overwatering. I read leaf curl is pretty common with Meyer and usually a non-issue, unless you see pest damage. Leaf curl can be a result of overwatering. Could also just be environmental and the plant could grow out of it. The tree looks pretty healthy to me.

It's been really rainy this year! Maybe it is just overwatering. It's still pretty small, maybe I will start moving it to the front porch when it rains.

I'm glad to hear it looks healthy!

I would snap the saucer off the bottom
