Please let us know how 'Gold Medal' lasts in bouquets. The yellow, supposed Austin, I rescued is still blooming like an ordinary floribunda. Pooh. 'Gold Medal' seems to make a friend's mixed rose bouquets look more ........... gorgeous? I can't harangue her into assessing longevity.

Irisgal, I have an older Gold Medal and the vaselife is just average. A beautiful rose that accents the bouquets. Cut it a little tighter and that helps to extend it's longevity. This one was meant to be a replacement for the older Gold Medal that isn't as productive any more.

Folklore, Grande amore and Tineke are my favorite

My goodness but Grand Amore is really holding its own! Is it in its second year with you? Any fragrance? All of your plants look so healthy and lush, you must have an excellent plant care regimen for them.

Rosesmi, thanks. I got Grande Amore spring 2014. That one was from Edmonds' and I got another one from Palatine Roses. Both are doing exceptionally good. This spring I got another one from Palatine. Love this rose. It gets bare legged and some BS issues late summer and is tall. I like Let Freedom Ring, Veteran's Honor, and Black Magic. Today Grande Amore is the better, most productive, healthier rose for my garden. I don't notice any fragrance. A low maintenance rose.
