Working on a rehab and flip of a 60s raised ranch. The (light oak) hardwood floor is in good shape and runs through the main rooms and hall of the upstairs except kitchen and baths. The lower level is an unfortunate brown carpet in both family room and bedroom. There is also a bath/laundry on that level. I am considering either sheet vinyl or vinyl plank for the lower level (all rooms). The other option would be a berber carpet.

We'll need to replace the 2 upstairs bathroom floors and possibly the kitchen vinyl floor. Additionally, the 4x6 foyer floor should be replaced. Would you make it all match? Use the same material if it was a tile or stone look (not if it's wood plank ...)? Planning to paint entire interior -- right now it feels a little like the inside of a bowl of pea soup. Planned color is soft grey with white trim. No pix yet ...
