Thanks for the positive comments; it's quite rewarding when a few seedlings you've bred come to maturity and look nice. Now the wait is on to see what the pups will look like; will they all be stable and look the same, or will they be better or worse? Only time will tell.

Karen - they are about eight years old, a bit slow and nowhere as fast as the experts, but I don't mind waiting as I find the results very interesting.

Dbarron - I have to agree with you; I have several different bromeliad genera but Neoregelias are my all time favourite for this very reason. As the seasons change so do the colours and there's something new to see every day.
