White blotchy spots on Meyer lemon tree?

We've started noticing these white blotchy spots on our Meyer lemon tree and the leaves seem unusually crunchy- still green but they feel like they're starting to dry. The soil is moist (its been a rainy week)

any ideas of what this is and how we can fix this problem?

Not leaf miner; miners work inside the leaf. This is the result of something chewing the top surface of the leaf, allowing the sun to bleach the inside.

You probably don't have anything to worry about. this is common in nature.

It looks like something has been chewing on your leaf; maybe earwigs?

Maybe a grasshopper or katelin damage then the sun bleached it out.
