Without pictures it's hard to know. As trim usually extends into other rooms I would keep it consistent from space to space. My preference usually goes to white trim with dark floors, but I think it's more important to be consistent throughout the home.

I would say leave trim as is, if it matches the floor and flows throughout the home.
