I think it looks like Parva

@akrrm: The leaves surely look like Parva! But it seems that the Parva leaves originate from a single rosette. I'm not sure mine are. They are more individual.

@barbmock: Fernwood leaves are much more solid (round) with a small groove in them if I remember correctly. Thank you for the suggestion.

I've found this post from 2010. They talk about this "Kirkii Friends" and that it is possibly a hybrid form. I've also found this online album with hundreds and hundreds of Sansevieria varieties.

I am wondering if your plant is actually a cluster of plants enclosed in a plastic mesh pot, and then potted into a larger pot with soil. The Fernwoods and a few other varieties have been marketed that way recently. Some of us cut the plastic mesh away to allow room for the roots. Sorry I can't help more with the ID.

@barbmock: I always remove the soil from my purchases after a few days of acclimatising at home. I use turface and grit as a growing medium. I'm not really sure what the rhizomes looked like and if it was a cluster or something. I guess I'll have to find out how it develops over time. Maybe they do grow like a rosette or something. I really, really like the banded grasslike looks, so I'm really curious about this one!

Okay, Good, I just really didn't like those plastic cups, just wanted to make sure you did't have one in there choking the roots. I agree, I really like your plant.

My Parva is growing like crazy. It's throwing out al new shoots over the edge of the pot!

Here you go barbmock. I've made a quick and dirty pic especially for you. It seems that al its offshoots are growing in a rosette. So you were right about this. My Fernwood exhibits this behaviour also, just like you said. Maybe they are potted up as leave cuttings or something.

(I really should go look for my batteries of my professional cam. My phone doesn't do this job very well ...)
